I still remember very clearly when I started to be obsessed with the concept of fire: when my life hit rock bottom and I found myself completely broken, I tried to rebuild it with the help of my only natural talent: perseverance.
At the start, It felt ecstatic and easy to identify as a flame burning incessantly because I was subverting negative energy, pain and apathy into blood, sweat, fire, travel and the forging of new bonds.
I was under the illusion of having figured out the balance between the cycle of creation and destruction offered by the Flame but to light a fire is much more than creating or destroying energy; unfortunately, my early and naive enthusiasm prevented me from understanding the third, most crucial aspect of fire: Sacrifice.
In between this solve et coagula
process lies our truthful inner self: what we are willing to sacrifice makes us who we are. The more you can burn of your old self to realize what you believe in, the stronger will be your accomplishments.
Through sound and words, I tried to describe how painful yet rewarding can be to stand for our own ideas, making it worth to die for them. May this music push you to always be the best version of yourself: there is no brighter star to roamers than a restless heart on fire.
